Thank you for your donation in memory of Ian MacKnight to honour Heather and Gregor on their wedding day.

Ian was a valued leader and champion for Big Brothers Big Sisters locally and nationally, and his positive impact is still felt today. During his tenure as the President of our agency Board of Directors and later as a member of our national Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada, Ian dedicated his time to improving the lives of young people across Canada.

He was humble and hard-working, passionately believed in the cause and inspired many others to do the same. His volunteer efforts as the Chair of the steering committee for our annual Golf for Kids Sake tournament had a direct impact on the lives of hundreds of children – his legacy will be measured in potential fulfilled, confidence gained and personal achievements of these children.

We are proud to have had the privilege to know and work with Ian. He was a highly respected mentor and friend. We are humbled to be the recipient of donations in his memory as the loved ones of Heather and Gregor celebrate their wedding.
