Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Halifax launched the Big Scholarship — an annual scholarship program for Littles connected with the agency.

Each year, two scholarships will be awarded:

• One $4,000 entrance scholarship for a Little graduating high school and beginning post-secondary studies in the fall.

• One $1,000 scholarship for a Little who graduated from their match within the past three years and who is currently attending post-secondary education and will continue to be enrolled for the upcoming academic year.

Applicants should choose the application form that best fits their situation.

Both applications require a letter of reference, ideally from your Big. If your Big is not available, you may provide another reference.
