Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Halifax is excited to announce the launch of the Big Scholarship — an annual scholarship program for Littles connected with the agency.
For 2025, two scholarships will be awarded:

One $4,000 entrance scholarship for a Little graduating high school in spring 2025 and beginning post-secondary studies in fall 2025.

One $1,000 scholarship for a Little who graduated from their match within the past three years and who is currently attending post-secondary education and will continue to be enrolled for the 2025–2026 academic year.
Applicants should choose the application form that best fits their situation.
Both applications require a letter of reference, ideally from your Big. If your Big is not available, you may provide another reference.
For the offline application, please download the form and complete it using Adobe. Once completed, you can email both the application form and reference letter to halifax.scholarships@bigbrothersbigsisters.ca.
